Hello, my name’s Amy (she/her).

I’m an artist, illustrator and maker of things based in Nottingham.

I’ve been a creative dabbler since day one and found a way to be doodling or crafting something whenever possible…

I graduated from Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University in 2007 and went on to establish my freelance illustration business shortly afterwards. Over the following 15+ years my style evolved, my business grew and my projects took on all kinds of creative forms. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredible clients and contributed art to some truly beautiful projects. In 2020 one of the projects I worked on (Rise up: Ordinary Kids With Extraordinary Stories written by Amanda Li) even won a Blue Peter Book Award! (And yes I got a badge!).

Things I do

Digital illustration is my main party trick. I’ve worked for publishers as well as solo clients on both public and private commissions. I’ve illustrated tarot decks, books, posters, personal artworks and more. I’ve also been making and selling my own digital art prints on and off since 2008.

Sewing and textile pieces: Over the last few years I’ve been focussing my attention on more hands-on/tactile skillsets to get a bit of balance and variety in my creative life. I’ve always loved learning new skills and using them to make lovely things. I have ADHD so as you can imagine the internal skillset library is extensive and growing. Same applies to the craft supplies in my tiny home studio room…

Paintings and one of a kind creations: I dabble and occasionally scatter a few online art sales throughout the year so if you’re interested in picking up one of my original pieces it’s a good idea to sign up to my mailing list and stay in the loop.
