Just a quick note to say hello and show you some of the Polaroid pictures I’ve been working on this last few weeks. Some are examples of me playing around with colours. 2 new badge sets FINALLY in the shops! I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to list them and post about them here (also sorry about the bad photos!). I’m waiting for a new camera charger to be delivered since my old one hasn’t shown up after the move. As soon as it arrives I can fully update you on what’s been happening. Right now I’m sat at my table in the spare room with a lovely view, thinking about replacing my cold cup of coffee with a fresh cup :)

I ran out of things to do during the craft fair last weekend and ended up randomly sewing the word ‘hi’ onto a piece of fabric… I haven’t really been able to stop sewing since and I thought it was about time I shared some pictures. I have to admit (and you will definitely notice) it’s not something I’ve done before but I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out. I like that they’re bumpy and uneven and a little all over the place – I definitely wouldn’t have won any awards in Jane Austen’s day, that’s for sure.

I’ve had a bit of a flickr clean up this morning too so I’ve dedicated a set purely to the cotton doodles in hope that it will encourage me to continue making them, click here to see what I’ve done so far.

Today I have developed a stinking cold so I went out and bought some almond macaroons to cheer me up :) I am also watching When Harry Met Sally before work. So it’s not all bad.

I’ve definitely watched more than my tv and brain can take of Jonathan Creek… So much so that I think the dvd players about to pack up on me… got good! Spent the day trying to come up with some new badge designs too but I’m obviously in an incredibly indecisive mood. Circles or squares? I’m hoping they’ll be ready for the Kiosk kiosk stall at the start of December (I’ll have more details on that later on). Ah well…

Anyway, this was just a little note to say hello. What do you think? circles or squares?

Some new treasures in the shops (etsy and folksy): Above we have the Urban Forest tote bag! I went and picked them up today, I was really excited and I’m so pleased with the result. I got them done with a local company called I dress myself – I thoroughly recommend them :)  They use environmentally friendly water-based inks and are printed on fairtrade cotton bags – nice and sturdy too. Limited edition of 50!

Below: Christmas is around the corner – it’s a large corner but that doesn’t make it any less real ;) Christmas cards are now available in the shops (etsy and folksy) 3 different designs. All cat themed (sorry). I do have a fox themed one but I’m just not 100% certain about it. We shall see what happens.

Illya is settling in :) Her gammy eye is nearly better. I’m pretty sure I’ll bombard you later on with pictures displaying the cuteness. On the shop front, I have a few more treats up my sleeve (I’m hoping one of them hasn’t got itself lost in the post) I’ll keep you well and truly posted!
