Last year this lovely couple, Sasha and Cam, asked me to do a doodle for them for their wedding day. Here ‘s a link to their beautiful day and just above is a picture of the doodle fresh off the press! (Photo credits go to their photographer, Katie)

chicken!

Thursday, June 21st, 2012

I’m sifting through some of my unfinished projects and making an effort to get them finished. Here’s a sneak preview from my chicken project I started this spring! This might be my favourite bird from the collection. I hit the half way mark today and have high hopes to get rest done and dusted soon. Chickens are very funny looking things and I’ve probably spent half of the project giggling at pictures of them on google… ahem.

sketchbook feature!

Thursday, April 5th, 2012

The lovely Laura, from Make do and mend, featured a couple of my sketchbook doodles the weekend before last on her lovely blog. Here’s a link. I’m still rubbish at sketchbooks. I never seem to carry them about with me so I end up doodling on the backs of receipts and all sorts. One day I’ll fill a sketchbook and buy myself a massive ice cream as a reward (no matter what time of year it is… not that it matters, I wore sandals a week ago and yesterday it snowed).
