I have been so quiet on the doodle front but I promise I haven’t been avoiding my doodling responsibilities. Here’s one of the many pictures I’ve been creating quietly to one side, finally the time has arrived to be able to share it with you! Here are some (very pink) snap shots of my doodle from this weekend’s “Raise the Roof” festival that was going on at Nottingham Contemporary. Sorry about the poor picture quality – I should be getting some better ones soon but I wanted to share a picture of my life size cat lady. I love doing these wall doodles!

I’m having a weird day today. Is anyone else feeling that? Maybe there’s a storm-a-comin’. I think it’s been a weird start to the month in truth which is probably why I’ve been so quiet on here, sorry about that! I did find out that 3 days of pure procrastination means you end up with a comfy crochet shawl – so it can’t be all bad. I’ll get some pictures of it to show you. I’m a mixture of ‘pleased as punch’ and ‘guilt ridden’ because I probably shouldn’t have spent 3 days playing about with wool…

Anyway! Even though today’s been an odd one I did mange to squeeze out a new design for a new card that is slowly making its way into the shop! Can’t say no to a cat lady!

New hair! I got lots of hair chopped off yesterday and I thought I’d take a pic and show off what I have left. I was thinking of abandoning the ginger and returning to my roots (ha… haha… ha) but this is how my conversation with my hairdresser went:

Me: “I was thinking of going back to brown hair”

Alex: “… really? … nah”

Me: “… you just want to dye my hair red forever, don’t you”

Alex: “Yup!”

Me: “Ok”

Anyway, I’m off out to eat SO much wagamama food tonight. Someones going to have to roll me to the bus stop.
