Leftovers

leftovers print

My newest print – now in the shops. Based on my ever growing ’sewing’ drawer, which is starting to bulge. I have to admit I am one of those folk who get ideas for projects, purchase the supplies but usually end up never getting round to it. It’s nice to think my purchases didn’t go to waste though and actually inspired a doodle. Anyway, the print is titled ‘Leftovers’, measures 8″ x 10″ and can be found in both online shops. Horray!

top hats and pearls

A new print to welcome in the new year! I’ve been sat on this one for a couple of weeks, itching to get it out there and in the shops. I’m pleased to say you can now find it on etsy and folksy! It’s an open edition print so it won’t just vanish after the new year festivities, so panic not. The print measures 8″ x 10″ (landscape) and is printed on archival heavyweight matte paper. There is room around the edges for framing with or without a mount. The colours are all bright and crisp. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Winter warmers

Monday, October 12th, 2009

It’s soo so nice watching this new site grow. I feel like I’m fattening it up for winter, with what appears to be daily post action. You do feel anxious leaving behind old blogs/sites. I tried to move the archive from the old drawing on tables blog to this one but it just didn’t seem right. There’s a time and a place for starting a fresh and that was definitely now.

On another page: I’m thinking about starting some new knitting projects too (as you can see form the wool displayed below). I have millions of scarves – one more GIANT one can’t hurt, right? And If I’m happy with the outcome and the price – possible Christmas gifts I think. I started a woolen gift a couple of months ago and I still haven’t got round to finishing it. I picked quite a frilly stitch so it takes a bit of getting used to and a bit of counting – since I usually do my knitting at work (which is strongly advised now there’s a wool hungry kitten in the home) I get side tracked and interrupted so keeping count is tricky. Anyway, that project is temporarily on a shelf. Right now, I want BIG wool (I’m definitely a fickle knitter). These are some of the colours I’m hoping to find in the shops this afternoon. Fingers crossed!
