Boy oh Boy it’s getting busy busy from where I’m sat so to calm things down a little I thought I’d share a test-doodle I’ve just finished. Inspired by the Moscow State Circus who were in town last week, it’s hopefully going to go towards a project I’m part of this summer – really exciting! I’m so pleased with how the test has come out I might even make it into a print! What do you think?

2 new prints and a new tote bag! And now they’re in the shop! Print’s measure 8″x 6″ and priced at £10 each. The Tote bags cost £8 each. Woop woop!

Now I’ve started painting again I can’t seem to stop, which is a good thing seeing as I set myself a mission of painting 50 pictures this year. I finished this one today after starting the sketch last night. I’m loving just painting straight onto the recycled card. The colours pop out at you and these colours in particular are my current obsession.

The websites going to have a new face hopefully by the end of the day, which I’m really looking forward to. It’s always nice to invite a little change into your routines. Anyway, it’s time I got a wriggle on… Would love to hear what you think of the new doodles.

Here’s a sneak peek at a project I’ve been working on. It’s a book! I got the test copy through the post this morning! Just a couple of tweaks here and there and then bingo, it’ll be ready! I’m so excited.

Random doodling: Black cats!

Well I’ve had a pretty daft afternoon. I’ve not done much but I have been playing around with this website for a while. I now have plenty of silly pictures of my face. I thought I’d share this set with you – it features a little cat toy I made for my friends very very very soon to be born baby.

I couldn’t not show you the silliest. My favourite has to be the bottom right – I’m not allowed to work in a chocolate shop, I would probably look like this most of the time if I did…

A random doodle I wanted to share. Sorry for the slow posts recently – I’m recovering from a nasty bug that’s wiped out my multitasking and organization skills. I can happily confirm today has started out more productively than last week – this means a big post office trip before work. It’s raining cats and dogs here, I hope you’re all warm and dry. Hello! Well, after successfully losing the original design (featured in the previous post)  I took it as a sign and I’ve spent the morning playing around with new colour schemes (as I said I would). This is where I need your help. I’m hoping to use the finished design on a new tote bag. Now you all know how indecisive I am and I’ve managed to whittle the options down to 2, which was hard work. Now it’s your turn – which one shall I use?? Looking at them now I’m leaning more towards the pink cheeks but I would like to hear what you have to say. Hope you’re all having a lovely week.

Thank you for the speedy feedback! I’ve mixed the 2 together as a lot of you suggested – what do you think? I think I’ve fallen in love with the grey triangles but they would probably work better on paper than on canvas. The Blue might stand out more. Would still love to hear your thoughts and feedback. I’m getting quite excited about this project. Thank you folks :)

Hello folks! I’m sorry I’ve been in hiding recently – hence the very quiet blog. I have a new doodle to share (above) – do you like her? I was thinking about printing her on tote bags? I’m probably going to play around with the colours some more but I’m very fond of the pale pinks and greys at the minute. Anyway, this is just a little note to say my hellos and that I haven’t forgotten about this site. Our summer seems to have turned into a big cloud, which means I’m just looking forward to autumn with all it’s golds and oranges (and conkers). I’ll be back with more doodles soon.
