Horray! They finally arrived – I had almost forgotten about them. A new badge set in the making. I will let you know when they are ready for adoption. It’s a lovely sunny day and before it’s time to sit in a dark dark room in a dark dark building on a not very dark street I may indulge myself with tea, biscuits and fiction in the garden.

2 new badge sets FINALLY in the shops! I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to list them and post about them here (also sorry about the bad photos!). I’m waiting for a new camera charger to be delivered since my old one hasn’t shown up after the move. As soon as it arrives I can fully update you on what’s been happening. Right now I’m sat at my table in the spare room with a lovely view, thinking about replacing my cold cup of coffee with a fresh cup :)

The treasures arrived! I saw these beauties by Jordan Grace Owens featured on the Pikaland site and couldn’t resist. I want more… I bought them as gifts but I don’t think I can part with them. How bad am I? Ahem, yes very. I want the paper dolls too…

Here’s some pictures from the last 3 days , which were spent in the chilly outside promoting pictures and other pretty things. Me, Eireann and Hollie shared the space – and the hot water bottles – in central Nottingham. Above is the Kiosk. Below are some of the treats I took with me.

We had cards, prints, badges, handmade beauties in all shapes and sizes. It was good fun but VERY cold. We survived though!

Above are some gorgeous mushrooms made by Eireann. I did treat myself to a handful of her original prints – which I will share in the future ‘for sure’ (sorry, private joke).

This evening I have RELAX TIME planned. I might even start making myself some new socks. I have chocolate biscuits, soup and omelettes planned – not to mention TONS of buffy… I heart buffy. But before any of that can begin it’s time for a second trip to the post office – go team! ‘Aw jeez’ hehe… sorry…

I found this treasure in an charity shop the other day and fell in love with it. I’m definitely a winter baby – I’m loving the bitter dry cold weather we’re having (the rain – not so much). Anyway, I’m pleased I’ll have a reminder of winter during the warmer months to come. A very shiny delicate reminder of winter :) My indestructible snowflake.

As well as charity shops I’ve been combing through all of my favourite etsy vintage boutiques and I’ve found some gorgeous things. I’ve been calling them my birthday treats to myself… admittedly my birthday isn’t for another week and I’m highly likely to find more treasures between now and then – especially now the Christmas market is here!!! But I love them and wanted to share pictures. First is an old french candy tin purchased from probably the most regular place I shop on etsy: littlebyrdvintage. Rebekah is a star and puts up with my constant postage related emails. She stocks such beautiful things too :)

The next item I came across was this stunning little painting purchased from a newly discovered shop called WinkingOwl. Full of treasures, I wish I had enough pennies to ship them over here :). The painting has such beautiful colours.

I’m going to cut this post a little short as I have to go an get myself ready. I’ll update it a little bit later on. Enjoy the eye candy though :)

A beautiful initial pin by Brooklyn Rehab arrived yesterday morning. I’m in desperate need of a reading day – hopefully that will be today. Tomorrow I plan to make millions (maybe 75) of cards. Me and the cat are both sneezing…
